Before you go

  • Ask about allergens when you order: US food law names nine major allergens (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy and sesame), and kitchens can tell you which dishes contain them.
  • Restaurant inspection results are kept by the city or county health department; many publish them online or post the latest grade at the door.
  • For table service a tip of 15–20% is customary; at counter-service places tipping is optional.

Peter's seafood wasn't what I expected. The food was a bit bland. Ordered soft shell crab sandwich and a pair of fried crabs. No flavor. Taste wasn't there. Also, they charge for using debit and credit. Credit, yes you can charge a fee. Debit you can not, its actually against the law. Know the law people. Stop being over charged! Demand a receipt and report it. Better yet, look it up. Do your research. I don't believe I'd go back. (Yes, it is generally illegal for a merchant to add a surcharge fee to a debit card transaction in the United States. This restriction is enforced nationwide by major card networks (like Visa and Mastercard) and supported by federal regulations like the Durbin Amendment, regardless of whether the card is run with a PIN or processed "as credit".) Please as a food reviewer, this is my opinion. Please continue to patron small businesses as this one is working to correct issues.

I got a set of fried crabs and was thoroughly disappointed with the smell of the crab and the taste of the crab. However it looked delicious. The crab egg roll has diminished in size throughout the years. Sadly the flies have not. The attack is real. This is a fresh fish market with plenty of flies and rotting seafood somewhere.

For $21.00. I didn’t want oysters but this is the medium tray. A lot of inseasoned fries. I got 4 scallops. One fish. 3 hush puppies. This is the medium platter. Look at the picture.

The food is a local favorite and this place can get really busy around peak crab season. All fish and other seafood is fresh and you can pay an additional $3 to have your seafood deep fried, grilled, or steamed to your liking. The staff is friendly and helpful and their is always a variety of seafood choices to chose from.

This place was OK, but the young cashier was definitely the highlight, he was very friendly and truly a joy to interact with. I would have provided a 5-star rating if they offered crab legs :( UPDATE (3/28/2023) My last visit was 5 years ago it says will i ordered the large combo today with 2 wings on the side the food was extremely salty and Everything tasted hust like fish. The fries were burnt so were the oysters and crab rolls. I tried eating the fish but couldn't way too fishy and the chicken was for my 2 year old she was not pleased at all definitely money wasted smh
